Another spot that saw a lot of abuse in the decade known as the 1990’s was this rail at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography in La Jolla, California. This rail (and I think the building behind it) are long gone but not the skate memories that went down there. Chany Jeanquenin bravely pulled out the back lip on this tall and sometimes sticky rail and rolled away in just a few tries (probably the only way you want to do that one). Long stairs gave this tall rail the gnar factor.
