When I was growing up in the late 1970s-early 1980s skateparks were being bull dozed only a couple years after they’d open leaving skateboarders with nowhere to ride unless they built something themselves. These days, most skateparks are built by municipalities and free to all users—rarely do they get shut down. In 2014 Vans opened a new skatepark in Huntington Beach, California that had this sweet clover pool. In 2018 they bulldozed it and another section of the park and built two new concrete sections. I like this bowl better! Jeff Grosso, Smith Grind 2014.
